Paul and Laura Miranda met while working for Mitchell’s Fish Market. Their relationship grew as they moved together for work, relocating multiple times, from Florida to Connecticut to Indianapolis, while building their lives and careers along the way.

In 2017, they returned to Laura’s hometown of Cincinnati. When the opportunity came to purchase Chef’s Cafe from one of Laura’s extended family, it was the perfect way to combine their experience in fine-dining restaurants and hospitality with their shared love of food and hospitality. In 2022, they became the proud owners, continuing a family tradition that began in 1993.

Today, Paul draws inspiration from his Southern roots and classical training, while Laura ensures every customer feels at home. Together, they bring wholesome, homemade food and heartwarming hospitality to every guest at Chef’s Cafe, and they’ve been “marching forth” ever since.
